A lovely [beautiful really] little video that is timely in it's anti-Valentine-ness [or actually, maybe it captures the Valentine experience perfectly, what do you think?]. In my mind, the only thing worse than Valentine's day is the Easter Bunny. And I despise the Easter Bunny.

what i love about valentines day is what i remember of it from childhood. making silly little valentines with all my red and pink crayons and construction paper, covering everything in hearts and writing things like "be mine" or "you're sweet". i would give them to classmates and my mom.

Yes! Me too. I think that's what Valentine's Day should be. It needs to be re-claimed as a homemade holiday... My favourite about Valentine's Day was having dinner together as a family and then my mom would make a heart-shaped brownie cake for dessert. That's what Valentine's Day was for me.
