One year wishes
Dearest Sofie
You are one. One whole year old as my daughter. I have learned so much about you in the last year. You are happy and funny. Strong and determined. Fiesty and fierce. Thoughtful and loving. And so beautiful. I am so proud to be your mama. You amaze me everyday. Everyday.
Today your friends came and we celebrated you. You seemed so excited that everyone was here. You smiled and laughed, crawled and explored, sat with other mamas and read stories. We had peanut butter and jam sandwiches. You wore an orange crown. You were surrounded by joy and love. I felt overwhelmed with gratitude. You are the love of my life, and your dads too. We are so grateful to be your parents sweet girl.
Although I'm a bit sad to know that your infancy is over, I'm so excited to watch you grow and learn. Soon you will be walking and talking and have hair. Those are big big things and we are so excited to experience them with you.
